Review of The Globetrotters

Title: The Globetrotters

Author: Arefa Tehsin

Blurb:

Hudhud is horrible to everyone. He polishes off his classmates' lunches, plays cruel pranks on his teachers and troubles innocent creatures. Until his strange new history teacher decides to set him straight.
The lesson? A curse! Now Hudhud must roam the vast earth . . . with-and as-the greatest migratory animals. His goal? To find the answer to all wrongs. And so begins Hudhud's remarkable journey: as a blue whale calf separated from his mother in the deep; as a trusting caterpillar who befriends a hunting spider; as a competitive caribou on a perilous trek; as an Arctic tern too scared to fly . . . But fly across the world he must, if he hopes to ever return home.
Follow Hudhud on this surreal trip, through the Arctic Ocean and the Sahara Desert, among fragrant flowers and tall grass, and find out all about the inner lives of some majestic animals and the wonders of the wild.

My Views:

Kids like adventure, fun and stories that matches their imagination. 'The Globetrotter' by Arefa Tehsin is full of such stories. They are bestooned with all the elements a kid would look in a story. The book is comprised of 5 stories with a main story in background. In childhood, beind the devil one sounds the most ecstatic one. Because at that tender age, we do't think about other feelings, and its easy to go on the that path. 'The Globetrotter' is a story of two notorious kids who learnt their lesson in altogether different and interesting way, and this book is all about the way they got to learn the lesson.

And with that comes good knowledge about the life of some wild aniumals. The two protagonists, the two besties, and the two notorious heads lived a life of plentiful animals and narrate stories of their own. Each story comes with a new life blessed to the protagonist, and each story has something to put forward to the knowledge of the readers about the life of the animal. So many facts about the insects/animals have been shown by the author through the beautifully narrated stories. All the facts proves to be a great learning with fun.

There's so much to learn from these stories. Lessons from the book of Moral Values, Geography and Science, and of course English. A wonderful book!
