neveragain

Blurb : One terrorist organisation, seven lives, two nations... Everything revolves around a charcoal smeared diary titled "The Stranded Legend" in which Nazi soldier Kasper Hartmann claimed that he once visited India during the World War 2. But... in the current times of corrupt and anti-national politics, a common man possessing such a controversial diary is no less than a danger. There has to be someone who would seek to eliminate the truth... Never Again reveals about the legend of a Nazi soldier and a labyrinth of current-day shocking conspiracies which opens up one after another. Reader's View :

The first few paragraphs are enough to gather the reader's attention. It is something that would start playing with the reader’s mind. The ride from past- to- present and from present- to- past would make  the reader go hook to the story all the time.
The game of hide and seek that the past and the present of the protagonist's plays creates a good amount of interest in order to keep the reader’s interest alive in the story.

The dairy or the present happenings, what hooked my attention is hard to judge. Both, the diary and the path to reveal the secrets it holds has their fair amount of role to hold back the reader from putting it down. But, to be very honest, my vote goes to Kasper's story. The character building of Kasper is very beautifully done, the reader could feel the life of Kasper through the words of the author.

Positives :

Beginning : The author inaugurates the story in such a way that the reader could no way think of putting the book down.

Writing Style : Matured and well-articulated.

Character- Sketch : While going through the diary section, the reader could feel the amount of sincerity involved while penning down Kasper's story.Loved that part!

Downfall : This book requires proof reading. There are places where the reader could locate misplaced words, and spelling errors.

The way threads of suspense looses its knots can be implemented in a better way.The journey of present events is short and that's why reader couldn't get enough time to dwell in that part of the story.Even after months, if the reader could get a chance to see this book, what all he could remember is the story of Kasper.

Font size didn't seem pleasing to my eyes. After some period, the only thing that posed as a hindrance is the font size, I literally had to take a break just because of the font size as my eyes wanted to have some rest.

Upshot : This book is specially designed for a history-enthusiast and a fiction lover.A good read!
