Title : I am the Lord
Author : Ezhuth Aani
Through this book, author has shared his opinions about religions and political belief with the help of Jagan, the protagonist of the story. As the story of the Jagan progress, the reader could see how he got introduces to many religious and political aspects, and how his life get affected by the same.Through the story of Jagan, author very wisely portrays his philosophy, offering reading knowledge of various religions.
When it comes to religion, it is not that easy to write whatever your heart suggests. One has to keep note that he shouldn't hurt someone in the process. As the author has chosen the same subject to write upon, he took great care to not to pen such words which could make the reader feel bad about something.
Along with the philosophy served to the readers, a decent story is captured in the frame, so that the reader could feel and understand the words of the author through the life of an individual. This is not an ordinary story of an individual, but is filled with some morals and values which would feed something healthy to the reader's mind.
His writing style is something I cherished throughout the journey. He somehow maintains to keep the reader's attention alive by feeding some valuable knowledge at every next node.

Blurb : This unique novel explores the world of religious conversion without actually condemning any particular religion. Set in the 1990s, the story travels to many countries including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Spain, Canada, and Sri Lanka. It delves into the philosophies of several religions while entwining an interesting story of adventure and love. Many of its predictions made two years ago when first published in Tamil are now playing out in the Middle East. The recent developments in Iraq and Syria, and the worldwide ramifications including events in France, Egypt and Mali bear testimony to the deep understanding of the historico-political landscape described in the novel. With religious proselytizing becoming a major issue in India, this novel is a must read for the discerning Indian reader.
