Title: Wedding Pickle
Author : Neha Sharma
Blurb: Avni is an independent, fun loving girl who loves the idea of being in love and having a happy ever after, only she knows this idea is too good to be true in this world, true love is nothing but a farce. Embroiled in her fears, doubts and her haunting past, does she get past her reluctance toward marriage? Does she find someone she can have a happy ever after with? Or does she actually prove her own point that true love is nothing but a farce in today’s world.
My View:
Anvi, the protagonist is one such girl one can easily spot in any circle. One could easily slip into the shoes of Anvi. Initially, I didn't like the amount of description and the minute details about how she feels and how everything goes around her, I wanted it to go straight forward. And, I was more interested to know the story than diving deep into the character. But what makes the journey comfortable moving forward is the pace that remains constant throughout. And then I started enjoying every detail Neha has worked upon.
The way Neha designed the protagonist's emotions seem all so real. It seemed like coming from someone who has herself experienced this all. A girl of Anvi's age can relate to most of the events happening to her and that's where a reader can find her place. Not that the book is for girls only, a guy can go through this book to find out what kind of turmoil a girl goes through in such situations. So that, when your girl falls in one such situation you could take the best suitable steps.
For a girl who is going to be married or is in the dilemma of choosing the best suited one from the pack of list your parents has sorted out, girls this book deserved to be read by you. It doesn't tell how to choose the best suited for you, but it definitely lets you feel comfortable when you get to know the story of Anvi. Her dilemmas are so obvious in nature given the situation, that you could feel everything around the book is happening to you.

My View:
Love is not that emotion or feeling you can have on an instant note. It is one such thing which can never be explained in words and always knocks on the door of heart unexpectedly. Wedding Pickle is the story of Anvi, a girl not ready to be married, confused and unsure about her love-life. It's the story of how she unexpectedly falls in love with a guy whom she didn't like in the very first meet.
